Workshops
Increase Your Presentation EffectivenessHow many opportunities are lost each day due to inadequate communication? A successful presentation engages, sends a strong message, provides examples and motivates the audience to action. We work with participants to improve the mental, visual, vocal and verbal aspects of presenting to create success. Through workshop discussions and activities, you will explore and experience a variety of techniques to keep your audience engaged. Some of the topics include body language, visual aids and questioning techniques. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to deliver several presentations. These presentations are recorded and you will receive feedback from other participants and the workshop facilitator. Class size is purposefully kept small so that each participant receives personal time and attention.
Facilitation Essentials for Non-InstructorsMany companies ask employees with subject matter expertise to share their knowledge with audiences at all levels. While they are experts in their field, they may not possess skills to build and deliver an impactful presentation. If the audience is not engaged, learning will not happen and presenter’s reputation may be at risk. All content presenters need foundational presentation building and delivery skills to be successful. This one-day workshop provides an introduction to delivery behaviors and presentation construction. Armed with this information, new presenters will have a starting point to presenting engaging learning sessions.

Advanced Instructor Skills - Deepening Learning ConnectionsInitiating behavior change in adults is critical to the success of any change management, leadership or sales training programs. This workshop helps facilitators challenge and deal with participants working through behavioral change.
Facilitation Focus - Managing Difficult SituationsEach participant in a workshop comes in with an individual mindset and perspective. This becomes challenging for the instructor when the content requires participants to change behaviors. Success in this situation requires that the instructor skillfully address the issues, gain the participant’s trust, and challenge them to work through the change. Managing and thriving in difficult classroom situations, face-to-face or virtual, requires the ability to quickly assess, address and use the underlying issue(s) to create learning that is more impactful. In this workshop, instructors learn and practice the skills needed to manage difficult learning situations. With these skills, instructors will feel more comfortable resolving issues and the participants will be more open to new learning.
Awareness Based FacilitationThis intensive three-day seminar allows opportunity for attendees to explore the benefits and processes involved in taking personal responsibility in the classroom (as a facilitator) and in their own personal lives. Awareness Based Facilitation Skills challenges participants to uncover new levels of self and other's awareness. This program is very experiential. Facilitators will be given the opportunity to explore their belief systems and how these beliefs can impact their facilitation. Participants will be asked to make presentations. Due to the nature of this program participants will have evening assignments that will require reflective time.
