Facilitation Focus - Managing Difficult Situations

Each participant in a workshop comes in with an individual mindset and perspective. This becomes challenging for the instructor when the content requires participants to change behaviors. Success in this situation requires that the instructor skillfully address the issues, gain the participant’s trust, and challenge them to work through the change.

Managing and thriving in difficult classroom situations, face-to-face or virtual, requires the ability to quickly assess, address and use the underlying issue(s) to create learning that is more impactful. In this workshop, instructors learn and practice the skills needed to manage difficult learning situations. With these skills, instructors will feel more comfortable resolving issues and the participants will be more open to new learning.
